Ohhh! LOOK. Another Curran! *wants* LOL. Okay that sounds kinda bad, but seriously! I think I'd read the series for him, even though I didn't really enjoy the first half of book one.... Hmmm. Great teaser:)

Rebecca (Kindle Fever) - The books get much better in the second book, Magic Burns. If I could suggest, with not caring much for Magic Bites, start right at Magic Burns. I don't think you will lose any big pieces of information. And what pieces you need you'll get in the books. This is the third book, and each gets better. But I also know every book isn't for everyone too. :) Hope you get a chance to give at least the second book a try. :) Thank you!
