How many of you have been waiting for Christopher Paolini's final book of the Inheritance series?
Well, I just got an email from Borders for a pre-order of the fourth book! I'm so excited! I WILL be getting this book.
This series was the series that got me started into reading. I was laid off from work and loved the movie, so picked up Eragon. And found that I loved fantasy and dragons.
But enough about me. Here's the book and release date:
Inheritance
By: Christopher Paolini
Due Out: November 8, 2011
Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.
Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.
The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaƫsia? And if so, at what cost?

I do not know, they were just so simple, oh and I have forgotten everything that happened in them
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the first two and can't wait to read the conclusion. Brandi from Blkosiner’s Book Blog
ReplyDeleteME TOO, I am waiting and glad to see the cover and release date for my all time favorite fantasy read since I cannot remember when Melissa!
ReplyDeleteI actually read the book first and then saw the movie, have Eragon off Pay-Per-View on DVD and watch it every once in a while!
I have only read the first one and that was a long time ago. Looks like I may be heading back to the library to check out the first again. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this cover...the color is gorgeous! I was reading the first book a couple of years ago and put it aside for some reason...not because I didn't like it or anything. You know how that goes some times. Anyway, I need to finish it and continue with the series so I can read this one. So, yes, I am excited for this release!
ReplyDeleteBlodeuedd - Oh, I'm going to have to review the last book and see where I'm left off at. I remember some stuff, but I'll be reading in November. :) The covers are simple.

ReplyDeleteOoooooh! I hadn't seen a book description yet for Inheritance! Wow, I need to get on top of re-reading the 1st and 2nd books and starting the 3rd one!
ReplyDeleteWe should both host a re-read! Maybe when it's a bit closer to the release date, though! ;)
Luanne - You are very welcome! :) There was a lot that happened. And book 3 has a lot in it too. You do have time to read it, waiting for November. :)
