Cover Release & Release Date!

How many of you have been waiting for Christopher Paolini's final book of the Inheritance series?

Well, I just got an email from Borders for a pre-order of the fourth book!  I'm so excited!  I WILL be getting this book.

This series was the series that got me started into reading.  I was laid off from work and loved the movie, so picked up Eragon.  And found that I loved fantasy and dragons.

But enough about me.  Here's the book and release date:

Inheritance
By:  Christopher Paolini
Due Out:  November 8, 2011
Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaƫsia? And if so, at what cost?

  5. I LOVE this cover...the color is gorgeous! I was reading the first book a couple of years ago and put it aside for some reason...not because I didn't like it or anything. You know how that goes some times. Anyway, I need to finish it and continue with the series so I can read this one. So, yes, I am excited for this release!
