Monday's Beginnings (22)

So, here we are again... Monday...

How are you faring in reading your books? Are you starting a new book for the week or are you still caught up with one? It seems for me the beginning of the week is when I get to start anew. I have noticed at times Mondays set the pace for the week for me too. So, have you got much reading done and think the week will go easy for the reading or are you going to be chasing the clock all week for reading time?

I think I have picked up four books this past week from the other blogs I have visited. These are all books that I really want to read. Now, I am starting to get worried over my list here. It is a little out of hand. I think I need to visit the bookaholics anonymous. lol. There are just soooo many wonderful authors out there with amazing stories to tell. Thank you all!

Okay, as for last week I did get one book done - Brain Thief. Which the review is here on the blog. Please stop by and read what I thought. Now, for this week I have plans... I am working on story 2 from Inked, which will be done here this evening. I am planning to get into Nyphron Rising by Michael Sullivan tomorrow. I have enjoyed the first two books and really looking forward to this one. If you would like to read these reviews click here for Book 1 and Book 2.

So... Let me know how your Monday is going... How are you faring with your reading int he beginning of this new week?

  1. I am off to a slow start due to company this weekend. Today I had some reading time while I got a pedicure. I love to multi task.

Curious about which books you found on other blogs... I want to know if I am feeding your addiction....LOL

  2. Well I hope my reading week takes off. Been slumped for the last couple of weeks and I really miss diving into a good book.

I got a belated Xmas present in the mail from my sis today. The Dark Divine by Bree Despain!!! I'm so excited...I can't wait to read it =O)

  4. I'll be posting a review of Drawing Blood by Poppy Z. Brite tomorrow night and will have to do one for Partners in Crime before the end of month so I don't have books lying around waiting for reviews. I won't post any teasers about it though so don't worry.

I'm kind of floating around a few books right now not really commiting to any of them.

Hope you have a great week and I'll talk to you later.

  5. Sheila - I have many books I have added to my list from your reviews. I think the most recent one that showed up, which was reviewed earlier, was Dreaming Anastasia. This week has been a slower week in picking books. I seem to go through phases where I pick up lots of titles and then not so many.

Zia - Hope you get that book this week that gets you going again. Sometimes just that one book can help get ya going again.

Michelle - Your sister sent you a late Xmas Gift! That is great. I like late gifts, it makes the holidays last longer. ;)

Ryan - I had not heard of Drawing Blood, curious to see what you think of it. I look forward to your review of Partners in Crime! I am getting ready to read the next 2 chapters for tonight. I really am enjoying the discussions on this. Great idea! It's okay if you do teasers on it :) I have a few other books going here too.
