Giveaway Time!! The Janus Affair

I've ended up with an extra copy of a book I've enjoyed.  Yes, by accident, but it works out splendidly for you.

So, I just reviewed The Janus Affair, and I might add enjoyed the steampunk read...learned much more of our adventurous duo.  I just posted my review, and want share this one with another.

  2. I don't have much experience with the steampunk genre but am excited to delve into it! I found a list of authors, some of which write in that genre and I look forward to reading more work similar to this one.

  5. I enjoy the re-imagination of the past that steampunk gives. I've always enjoyed the work of Jules Verne and enjoy the costuming and gadgetry that goes with the steampunk culture.

  6. I haven't read a lot of Steampunk, but it was really exciting to get into a different kind of world. One full of gadgets and costumes. :)

  7. I enjoy steampunk - I love teh imagination that goes into creating a world that is familar yet completely different at the same time. I wish I read of it than I do! :-)

  16. I think I like steampunk because of the technology added into worlds that wouldn't otherwise have it and what kind of changes that means for it.

    I still haven't read the first book, but I'm willing to start on this one!

  17. When it's done well, I love the "adventuresome" quality of it--reminds me of Indiana Jones for some reason. When it doesn't get bogged down in the technical details of the gadgetry, it can do some really fantastical and innovative things. I love the thought process behind some of the alternate histories!

  21. I have to admit, I haven't read too many steampunk novels, but the ones I have, I've liked. It's elaborate and fun and new all at the same time.
