Teaser Tuesday (70)

Teaser Tuesday

is a weekly event
Sponsored by MizB of Should be Reading

Here's how it works:
Grab the book you are currently reading (anything at all)
Open the book to any random page.
Share 2 teaser sentences from anywhere on the page
Please Make Sure They Are Not Spoilers!
(Don't Give Too Much Away)
Just enough to pique our interests

This Week:

I was past that point where you reconsider a charge into battle, way past that moment when your battle-axe is firm in your grasp and you're matching the grunts and growls of a front line of orcs and ogres with your own regiment's cry.  Still, I caught myself wondering if it had been such a smart idea accepting this job.  Dealing with Capone was bad enough, but what was so important in Chicago that "Bugs" Moran would risk getting into Capone's business close on the heels of Valentine's Day?

  4. I didn't consider with the pending release of Phoenix Rising that some might seek out my previous works.

The Case of the Singing Sword was a lot of fun for me, especially when I produced the podcast of it. I will be very curious what you think of it when you reach the end.
