There are so many amazing books already on the shelves and new ones coming out.

I came across Erin by way of Twitter.  Yes, sometimes we really do find amazing finds there.  I started digging and asking about this book as I really liked the hints dropped on Erin's blog and site.  When I got the synopsis and read through it, I really liked what I saw.  I'm looking forward to this book coming out.

Book Synopsis:

Three generations ago Captain Vidarian Rulorat's great-grandfather gave up an imperial commission to commit social catastrophe by marrying a fire priestess. For love, he unwittingly doomed his family to generations of a rare genetic disease that follows families who cross elemental boundaries.
