Teaser Tuesday is a weekly event.
Sponsored by MizB of Should be Reading.
(I am rotating from Teaser Tuesday and Where are you? on Tuesdays. This week is the teaser.)
Here's how it works:
Grab the book you are currently reading (anything at all)
Open the book to any random page.
Share 2 "teaser" sentences from anywhere on the page.
Please Make Sure They Are Not Spoilers!
(Don't Give Too Much Away)
Just enough to pique our interests.
List the book and author so other participants can get their hand on it if they choose to read it as well.
This week:
The man dropped his arm. Ashe fell to the floor with an unceremonious thud, rolling once to land on her side.
Scorched

Now that's got me wondering what just happened. Good teaser!
ReplyDeleteZia - I was going to put 2 more short lines with this, but then stopped. I thought it may catch more eyes with less. Sometimes less is good... lol.
ReplyDeleteyes sometimes less is perfect!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Action of the not-so-good kind, it sounds like! Great teaser - it has me really curious about the situation. Thanks for coming by my blog earlier!
ReplyDeleteHi, Melissa! That teaser really grabbed my attention. I guess it proves once again that "Less is more." I can't wait to read your review about this one, Melissa!
ReplyDeleteHow's this book going?
ReplyDeleteCeli.a - It really is action of the not-so-good kind... I almost gave a clue away but I erased it. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeletePeter S. - Thanks for stopping by! I am hoping to get this review up here just into the new year. I had to stop myself from adding additional lines because this help keep the suspence. Glad you liked it!
Simcha - Its okay. It has good parts and I've read through parts that where a little slow for me. It's not a book I would rush out to buy, but is a decent read. I like it more because I read the first one and liked the characters. I'm not completely done with it yet, I am hoping to finish here soon. These holidays and redoing some of our kitchen is really putting a damper on my reading time.
ReplyDeleteWith my best wishes for 2010, I hope it's a good one for you and yours Melissa.
ReplyDeleteAm having severe difficulties accessing Alexia's blog so would like to offer her my best wishes for the New Yar via your site.
Thanks for the wishes Petty Witter! Wishing you a happy New Year as well! Hope everyone is feeling better too.
ReplyDeleteI will stop over at Alexia's blog to pass you message along. (Hoping I don't have any troubles as well.)
Ooh, that sounds exciting! :)
ReplyDelete-Briana
