Spring's Serenity Read-A-Thon

I signed up for a Read-A-Thon that's happening this week.
It runs from April 25, 2011 through May 1, 2011.
The Read-A-Thon is hosted by:

If you would like to join up you can do so at any time, and you only read what you can.  No requirements, just a week dedicated to reading. :)

I'm not sure how much I will get done this week as I do work full time and have to work all week.  But, I'm hoping (key word... hoping) that I might be able to have a reading weekend at least.  I know we will be celebrating my son's birthday and he will be having friends over.  But with doing this I'm hoping they will all be occupied with each other and playing games now that they are getting older, he will be twelve.  So while they are playing the playstation and such, I'm hoping to get lost in a book.  We shall see...

But I hope to finish The Iron King this week and start A Moth in Darkness.  Maybe even get through A Moth in Darkness, if all works out well for me. ;)

  5. Happy Belated Birthday to your son!

Mine had a birthday sleepover some weeks back and did I take advantage and read? Nope, just immediately fell asleep despite the raucous goings on of 15 & 16-year-olds.

  6. StephanieD - :) Thank you from my son. :) Well, I'm not sure with the boys being here that I'll be able to get reading done, but I'm going to give it the old college try. ;) Thank you!
