Lets Be Friends Award

I have just recently received the award "Lets Be Friend Award" from Ryan at Wordsmithonia. I want to first off thank him for this award. For being new to the blogging idea and all I really do appreciate it. I have posted this award on my page as a reminder.

There was a quote with this award on Ryans' site. I would like to quote it here:

"Blogs that receive the Let's Be Friends Award are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers."

I do quite agree with this quote. I have found new bloggers to follow through this award, by looking around at other sites awarded. This is nice to see what others think on; books, movies, and such, all of what I also do or may like to read or see. These people all are very nice on their sites and have the same goals as the rest of us. We all hope to share wonderful information with each other and have fun while doing so. I have found many new sites I love to visit now.

I would love to pass this award on to another, but I do not have many followers with a blog since I am new. I have a new friend I would like to mention, and if she had her own blog going I would put her here but... I would like to mention Krista.

So again I just want to thank Ryan for his gesture of kindness and friendship. I am also glad to see the award being passed around so kindly, these people receiving the award do seem kind people.

Ahhh, Thanks Mel! You are too kind! I have thought about starting my own blog, but I'm just not really sure where it would go..LOL! I really should try and give it a go, eh? I'm just one of those nervous people who doesn't really know where to start or what to say and worries about what other people might think! Yikes! I know I shouldn't be that way, but I am at times, Oh well! I might try it out eventually! Thanks again! I'd give you and Ryan the Same award if I had a blog LOL!

Krista, I get nervous also when doing these blogs. Also, I never know what to say. I think about writting also on the books I read, but, well... I don't really read the books fast enough to be able to blog on them very often. I just kind of hang out here and look at other blogs more. Maybe I will start commenting on the books I am reading when I am done with them, though the 2 of you already see what I think while I am reading them over at B&N. Oh well, just something to do and keep me out of trouble I guess.

Hey, I opened my blog up for business, so I hope you stop by and enjoy! Please comment and let me know what you think I'm still a little nervous about the whole thing...LOL! Oh, yeah, and I wrote my thoughts about the Name of the Wind it's mostly what I've said over on BandN just a little different, so if you want you can skip it...LOL!
