New Short Story Released: She Waits

This is a new, yet old, short story by Krista D. Ball.  As per her author emails, this story was previously published in Ride The Moon by Tyche Books as the title: On The Labrador Shore, She Waits.

She Waits is a short story set in a historical fiction world.  Here's what Krista said about the story idea in her email..
"The story is set in L'Anse Amour, Newfoundland and Labrador, and is the site of North America’s oldest burial site. I’ve always been fascinated by this twelve-year-old child buried face-down on the rocky shore of Labrador. Why was this child buried in that manner? What was the significance of his grave items? Who were these people who once walked those shores? This story is my attempt to answer that question."
The Description:
7500 years ago, on the cold Labrador coast, Demaswet faced a choice: offer her only son to the Moon God, or watch her people die.
