Well, it's Monday. What else can I say? Just a plain old Monday. Nothing exciting about it this week and nothing too dreadful about it. (yet anyway)
I didn't have as much of a big week as I did weekend in reading. I was really proud of myself. And I wasn't feeling so well Saturday, so went to lay in bed and read. I think I read in total about 450 pages. That's amazing for me. :)
So, what all did I read and do in books this past week and to come? ....
Currently Reading:
In The Forests of the Night by Kersten Hamilton ~ I'm just about done with it. I plan on finishing up today. :)
The Hour of Dust and Ashes by Kelly Gay ~ This is for the book chat here and at Robyn's blog. Now time to read the second section of about 110pgs. If you would like to stop by the first chat, please do.
To Come This Week:
Reviews:
All Wounds by Dina James
Enclave By Ann Aguirre - I'm hoping at the end of the week as I want to do 3 or 4 questions for my son and I both to answer in a review style.
In The Forests of the Night by Kersten Hamilton

Sorry, I'm really bad lately. I REALLY NEED to get back to these. And I've even found another podcast I really want to listen to along with Tales from the Archives.
Special Posts:
~Interview & GIVEAWAY with Sharron Riddle! I loved her book Fate of the Fallen, do you remember? Well, I had to interview her and she offered to give 1 Ebook away. So please go enter!
~Take a look at my Shelves. :) I've shared a little about them and pictures over at Book Lovers Inc. in their huge celebration for followers.
~Today I'm over at Cookies, Books, and Bikes talking about my top 5 Fantasy reads.
Wow! I didn't realize what a big week I really had. Amazing. :) This post really helped show that to me.
I did write a Flash Fiction Friday last week as well. If you are interested. *shrug shoulders*
My WANT list... hmmm, I only added 2 books? That just seems so wrong. I'll have to look into that this week.
Books Received:
Ut oh... Don't yell at me, pleeease? I didn't get any books last week. I did buy a necklace. :) And I've made a long list of books I NEED to get. So I think when payday comes I'll go purchase some books.
So, how are you faring at the beginning of this week? Does it look like a good reading week for you?
I'm hoping for another amazing week this week. I've got big plans here this week and hope to get some reading done, although I'm thinking with the reading I got done this weekend and not any cleaning that I'll be limited this weekend coming.
Here's wishing you all the best in words and pages.
And a song for you this week... My husband loved this son when if first came out and I did too. But it was always fun watching him dance (yes, my husband is a dancing type) when we went out. He loves the choirs and the first verse sung. Oh, there are a few other lines too. Oh we just enjoy the whole song now that I listened to it again.

Yay! I'm glad to hear you bought yourself something nice. Do you have a good local library? If so, maybe check out a few books then you'll get to spend more money on buying yourself more necklaces! A girl can never have enough. LOL
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying In The Forest. :)
I didn't add any books last week either, which is a good thing for me. Too many already. For once, I dipped into my non-review TBR pile and came out with such a winner that I'm really enjoying right now: The Curse of the Wendigo by Rick Yancey. Simply superb.
ReplyDeleteMissie - I might just do that, go to the library. :) Thank you! But, I have to watch buying to much now with the holidays so close as well. ;) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteStephanieD - Oh, it's very nice to get away from the review books and read one that you purchased and read for fun. :) I try to mix a few in every month so I feel like I'm reading other books too. :) Have a great week!
IN The Forest Of The Night sounds good!
ReplyDeleteI bought books. Darn Pocket ebook sale. Maybe it's a good thing you don't have an ereader. Na, you need one of those too!
ReplyDeleteI want to see the necklace! :)
Well, if it was a diamond's necklace...you are justified. After all, diamonds are a girl's best friend.LOL

I always read 2 or more books simultaneously. Want to break the monotony, I guess.
ReplyDeleteAm I normal?LOL

I've gotten a few books lately but have been too busy to get to them. I've been finding that I've been in more of the mood to just grab from my pile of dusty TBR pile.
ReplyDeleteThe Uncle Cracker song is a great tune as well! Love your weekly music choices.
Sorry everyone, for not commenting sooner. I've had a rough few days.
ReplyDeleteSheila (Bookjourney) - Hi!! *waves* So glad to see you! :) Hope you are doing wonderfully. :) And thank you, In The Forests of the Night was really a wonderful read. Thank you!!
Melissa (Books&Things) - hee hee. I'm trying to get an ereader for Christmas. I keep telling the hubby that I want one and which one I want. :) We shall see. And if I don't get one I'll save up for it. And I'll share the necklace when I get it. :)
Maria Papdopoulou - Hi. thank you for stopping by. Oh, the necklace isn't diamonds, but I really liked it and dragged my feet for so long before getting it. Plus I'm trying to save for Christmas. *sigh* Thank you for stopping by!
Zia - I've been in those moods too. To finally dig into what's sitting here waiting ever so patiently for me. Now I feel bad for these books needing love... And thank you! I'm so glad you enjoy the music! :)
