Balderdash (15)

Word Verification Balderdash
is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books.
This is very easy to do.
If you comment on blogs you can do this too.
Write down all the word verifications you get while posting comments on other peoples blogs.
You then play Balderdash with them.

In case you don't know how to play, you take the made up word and come up with an authentic sounding definition for it.

Do this for a week and then post your best or favorite ones every Thursday.

Here are mine for this week:
squele - the sound a childs wet tennis shoes make on the polished marble floors at the stores and then they insist on making more of the sound intentionally for their amusement.
umfor - the stunded, speechless response made by children when the parents catch them and ask them what they where doing, when they know they should NOT be doing something or are doing something not asked to do.
eptisms - the plurel form of a scientific field of study that is done in that building none of us are to know exists, we don't know exactly what the field of study specializes in but we know that it exists and may have something to do with nature or genes.
insingst - this is singing in the shower when you think no one is home or can hear you, then when you come out of the bathroom there is your family with that grin on their face telling you they heard you - and you feel embarressed for your untuned and short of melody singing.

  6. Alexia - LOL... Insingst happens to me from time to time as well.

Ryan - You are one of those adults too huh!? It all depends on the mood of the day but at times I have to squele as well. Usually, my son does it & the squele is okay for a few times but start tos get to me after a while. Always have to enjoy the child inside...

Petty Witter - Glad you stopped by and enjoy the words. Umfor even seems to go for some adults as well.
