Yep! This is the first time I've been interviewed. So it was a little different being in the other seat. And it was fun! Come say hi!
Simcha has been interviewing many wonderful bloggers she has meet over the last 2 years of her blogging. Simcha is celebrating her 2 year blogging anniversary with her blogger friends. :) And I'm proud to say I'm one of them. Thank you Simcha! So glad to have meet a great person out here on the net to share great books with, and anything in general.
Please, stop by and check it out over at Simcha's blog SFF Chat. Dare I say I might have got a little wordy with a few answers? And there is a picture of me and my two puppies. Although they aren't all that small anymore. My lovely German Shepherd girls, Athena & Sheba.

Looking Forward To...(57)
There are so many amazing books already on the shelves and new ones coming out.
For a list of books yet to be released I'm looking to get, you can also look on my right Sidebar at the ever growing list titled Desired Reads - just scroll down. Of course there are tones of other new books to come out that are amazing as well, but these ones are part of series I have already started or for one reason or another caught my eye (and haven't seen much on other blogs yet). But I will highlight one here each week.
(mentioned in order of Release Date then Alphabetical if there are more than one book coming out on the same date.)
Next Book Is...
The Last Four Things
By: Paul Hoffman
Due Out: August 4, 2011
I'm a fantasy lover just as much as Urban Fantasy fun. This series started with the first book in the Thomas Cale series: The Left Hand of God. And I liked what was started in the world here and with Thomas Cale. I'm looking forward to this second book stepping up the stacks and bringing it all on full force.
Goodreads Synopsis:
The epic story of Thomas Cale-introduced so memorably inThe Left Hand of God--continues as the Redeemers use his prodigious gifts to further their sacred goal: the extinction of humankind and the end of the world.
To the warrior-monks known as the Redeemers, who rule over massive armies of child slaves, "the last four things" represent the culmination of a faithful life. Death. Judgement. Heaven. Hell. The last four things represent eternal bliss-or endless destruction, permanent chaos, and infinite pain.
Perhaps nowhere are the competing ideas of heaven and hell exhibited more clearly than in the dark and tormented soul of Thomas Cale. Betrayed by his beloved but still marked by a child's innocence, possessed of a remarkable aptitude for violence but capable of extreme tenderness, Cale will lead the Redeemers into a battle for nothing less than the fate of the human race. And though his broken heart foretells the bloody trail he will leave in pursuit of a personal peace he can never achieve, a glimmer of hope remains. The question even Cale can't answer: When it comes time to decide the fate of the world, to ensure the extermination of humankind or spare it, what will he choose? To express God's will on the edge of his sword, or to forgive his fellow man-and himself?

Throwback Thursday (21)
Let's talk about those books already on the shelves, yours or the stores.
I have a post for books I'm looking forward to coming out;
Looking Forward To...
But what about all those wonderful books that are ALREADY on the shelves.
Whether it be on your shelf waiting to be read or on the shelves in the stores waiting for you to give it a good home.
So, I thought I would share a book a week that is just waiting for me to travel through it's world.
Now... where do I start? Lets go by Published Date on the books...
This Week:
Aaaa, this one. This one I DO want to read and CAN'T wait to get to it. I loved the first book in this series. The main character was fun, sexy, and soooo knew nothing about being a human female. :) So it made for a great fun read. I really need to get back to this one to see what happens with her and her lovely boyfriend.
Goodreads Synopsis:
In Jackie Kessler's debut novel Hell's Belles, she introduced readers to Jesse Harris, a succubus-turned-human with a tart tongue, a way with a g-string, and a soft spot for sexy undercover cop Paul Hamilton. Now Jesse's back, and where she goes, Hell is sure to follow...
There's Nothing Worse Than A Demon With A Grudge
Jesse may no longer be a soul-stealing succubus, but she's got a Hell of a past. She'd love to come clean to her sweet, super-hot boyfriend Paul, but how exactly does a girl start that conversation? There's no name tag that reads: "I Used to Have Sex with Men before Taking Their Souls to the Lake of Fire--Ask Me How!" Just like some people are worth being monogamous for (shudder), some secrets are worth keeping. Like the fact that bad boy incubus Daunuan keeps popping up from the Underworld to put some toe-curling moves on her; that her former associates are trying to strong-arm her back into the fold; and that every supernatural entity on the planet seems to want to have a conversation with her in the bathroom. But someone in the Underworld isn't ready to play nice (go figure), and this time, the stakes are nothing less than Paul's immortal soul.
If Hell wants Jesse back so badly, they've got her. But payback's a bitch, and this bitch is about to rock Hell like a hurricane--or lose her soul trying...

Who? What? Where? (25)
Share with us just a little bit of what is happening in the book you are reading, right where you are now.
Just a tiny taste of what's happening, remember try to not give spoilers of the book.
(This is a new meme I'm going to try and will tweak as I go. And please don't laugh at my lame attempt at drawing. ;D )
I'm moving this post from Thursdays to Wednesdays as I have another idea for Thursdays.
I'm bouncing between two different groups of conversations. Clary is now resting at the Institute after her little scuffle with a Hydra demon. Hm. And Simon is waiting at the Sanctuary for the eccentric Magnus Bane to appear to talk with the beautiful and age old vampire the lead a large clan. ALL sorts of information is flowing around now!

Any Thoughts on how to Celebrate?
I'm hoping you all can help me with what you might want to see for my 2 year blogging celebration.
I was thinking of asking a few fellow bloggers and authors I've meet over the two years, and have started to really think of some very good online friends, to do some guest posts. Now I was thinking about change, time, and online as the basing start point. But then thought it might be boring. You know talk about how things have changed with doing blogging, or what happens with time, the way you spend your time now, how did you come to being on line with blogs.... blah blah blah. But I didn't know if YOU as a reader thought this would be interesting or not.
So, I was wondering what you thought would be fun to read for a celebration. I don't want to bring the party down, I want to celebrate hardy. See, I have the 2 year blogging birthday end of July, then my wedding anniversary end of July (we've been together about 14 years, married 9 years), then I have a birthday at the beginning of August (yeah, I don't feel like sharing that age at the moment as I don't remember with out calculating the alignment of the sun, moon, age of my son and my mother... you know it gets complicated).
And yes, when the time comes there will be a or a few giveaways to celebrate. But can you help me with what your thoughts are? And if any of you authors or bloggers out there would like to participate please let me know. You can email me and we'll get the post up for you. :)
Thank you all for your help!
