Sunday Post #189

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share new about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It seems to becoming a habit to post Sunday Post every other week for me. But I have an excuse for missing last week! An adorable one! I adopted a new kitten. Abe (sort for Abraham, I just can't bring myself to say his full name every time I call him). He just wants to be loved! We picked him up on Saturday and spent the weekend getting him acquainted with the house and my two crazy girls. Things are going great! Saturday night was a bit tough, as expected. He did cry most of the night. But Sunday was a dream! He started rubbing against the girls and running past them. So he's off to a great start! Sunday night, he slept with my son ALL NIGHT. LOL! Kiddo was so surprised.
I swear he thinks I'm his personal warm pillow. lol. This picture is on of the better shots as he loves laying on my chest, and it's hard to get a photo there. lol.
I did a photo shoot with friends who had their first baby. Oh my goodness! She's adorable. She was a week old when I took the photos, so it was new born photos. I had so much fun! I sort of got lost in the moment. lol. But I have those photos to touch up and get to them.
I've been working on content editing as well. It's been busy here. But I do need to get time to do a few other things. Like visit blogs and back on the treadmill. I need to focus and get organized with time.
How about you? Have you found you've been busy with all the things?
Around the Internet...
Reviews:
Steam by Stacey Rourke
"This book ties all we've learned of Ireland and her Hessian, Ridley and his Poe curse, and a new woman - Peyton and her ability, together. They are histories that are touched by an individual in time. They don't realize it, but they are tied by the same evil just in different ways."
Void Trip #2 by Ryan O'Sullivan & Plaid Klaus
"Just when you think Ana's simply strung out on her Froot, she says something full of meaning and heart. Wow. The big moment for Ana when she tells why she doesn't want to get to Euphoria. That's deep. I think I love her more for the great thought and concern in the answer."
Villain's Pride by M.K. Gibson
"I have fun with Jackson. He's a crafty villain. He knows the rules and plays with and around them. Jackson also has a code of conduct. He's a villain but he's not evil in treatment of people. He openly voices his views on different things that could really fit, yet it's humorous how it's done."
Behind Enemy Lines by Terry Mixon
"As our characters move along to new systems and planets, they learn more and more of the people that came before them. There are so many pieces to the history and Terry guides us through it. When we come to a new planet and problems there, we see what we've started to learn is of importance here. And it grows in detail. I find this manner of writing easy to follow as it gradually guides me through the history, story, and problems we come to."
