I can only bring myself to do the last year, as trying to figure out the best of all time...yea, no. I love to many books on all different levels to try and figure that out.
Also, part of what makes this such an amazing thing, is my fellow bloggers. I love sharing books with fellow bloggers and learning what they have loved to share with me as well. This is a huge thing with me in the booking community. I have with me a book lover of Novellas. Sharing their Top 5 reads for the last year as well.
My Picks:
Alright, first. It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to. Alright, not cry, but break the rules. I'm allowed this one time. Yes, I have more than 5 picks for you. But in their defense, they are novella's and quick reads...
Badlands by Seleste deLaney - (Amazon Kindle)
Clockwork Mafia by Seleste deLaney - (Amazon Kindle)
9 Crimes by Skyla Dawn Cameron - This one mended my heart a bit after reading Exhumed. It's an amazing companion story to Exhumed from the other view point.
The High Priestess by Katee Roberts - (Amazon Kindle)
The Ghost of Vampire Present by Seleste deLaney - (Amazon Kindle)
Dark Whispers by Krista D. Ball - (Amazon Kindle)
I'm thrilled to have another Novella lover with me today, Kindle-aholic from Kindle-aholic's Book Pile and her amazing picks:

Novellas and me...eh they are just so short
ReplyDeleteOh love the Badlands ones. Well, not that I've read them, but want to read them! :)
ReplyDeleteI still say Carnepunk anthology. Full of novellas. :D
I would list Jenn Bennett's Leashing the Tempest as my favorite novella read this year, it was fantastic.
ReplyDeleteSo much for Lili's Unfallen. What a great read. <3
ReplyDeleteI'd have to go with Raw Deal by Mark Henwick. Very good UF novella. Sort of a prequel to his series and now I want to read the series. Not the most uplifting of tales though.
ReplyDeleteClockwork Mafia was fun! Haven't read the first one yet.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Creatures.
ReplyDeleteI don't read a lot of novellas. Generally I prefer a lengthy read.
