Throwback Thursday (32)

Let's talk about those books already on the shelves, yours or the stores.

I have a post for books I'm looking forward to coming out;

Looking Forward To...
But what about all those wonderful books that are ALREADY on the shelves.

Whether it be on your shelf waiting to be read or on the shelves in the stores waiting for you to give it a good home.

So, I thought I would share a book a week that is just waiting for me to travel through it's world.

Now... where do I start? Lets go by Published Date on the books...

This Week:

This book I won on a blog giveaway.  I liked the sounds of it.  It sounded like a mix of the Lost city of Atlantis, Greek Gods, and adventure.  Something I think I would enjoy.  But, shame on me, I have not got to reading yet.  But it is here waiting for me to pick it up.

Amazon Synopsis:
Alec Thrace is a nineteen year old privileged son of the mighty House of Thrace on the magical island of Atlantis, far beyond the Pillars of Hercules in the Atlantic Ocean where science meets prehistory and intermingles from time to time with magic. Alec learns of a great adventure that his missing father left for him, to find and use a long lost medallion to bring the body of a great king back to Atlantis before the warring factions of Rome and Carthage can lay claim to it. However, Alec soon learns that there is more to the medallion than its golden façade. Within it lies the secret of the one for whom it was made. Together, Alec and his friends race through the world discovering how dangerous it can be and how precious their mythical island nation is as well as what some would do to lay claim to its wealth and knowledge.

  4. Mel - lol. I'll try to get to it one of these days... I looked it up on Goodreads again and don't see the next book out yet. So I might have to search into the series. But we shall see. :)

    Blodeuedd - You know I really had to search to find this description. It doesn't sound like much. But I remember where I read it, the review sounded really good. But we shall see one of these days.

    Melissa (Books&Things) - Thank you! And thank you for stopping by. :)
