Looking Forward To...(67)

There are so many amazing books already on the shelves and new ones coming out.

For a list of books yet to be released I'm looking to get, you can also look on my right Sidebar at the ever growing list titled Desired Reads - just scroll down. Of course there are tones of other new books to come out that are amazing as well, but these ones are part of series I have already started or for one reason or another caught my eye (and haven't seen much on other blogs yet). But I will highlight one here each week.

(mentioned in order of Release Date then Alphabetical if there are more than one book coming out on the same date.)

Next Book Is...

The Mammoth Book of Ghost Romance
By:  Numerous Authors
Due Out:  September 27, 2011

This sounds like a great anthology with several amazing authors.  The author that brought this one to my attention was Carolyn Crane.  :) Thank you!  And it sounds like a wonderful romance read.

Look who's all in this one:
Trisha Telep (editor), Michelle M. Pillow, Rebecca York, Lillith Saintcrow, Louisa Burton, Anna WindsorSusan SizemoreCarolyn Crane, Jeannie Holmes

Carolyn Crane's story is Old Salt: a snarky woman tour guide at a seaside tourist trap in North Carolina (the haunted pier) who wishes that a certain strapping young sea captain who died in 1870 had a less pathetic haunting technique.

  2. Am not real fan of anthologies. I find the stories too short... but then that depends on the author's story telling skills really...

  3. Now I'm curious what that pathetic haunting technique is...

  5. Oo Lilith Saintcrow! Anthologies seem to be becoming more and more popular! I love the variety. I'm not big on ghosts, but I am intrigued by ghost romance =)
