Balderdash (25)

is a weekly meme hosted by Ryan at Wordsmithonia.

This is very easy to do!
If you comment on blogs you can do this too.
Write down all the word verifictions you get while posting comments on other peoples blogs.
You then play Balderdash with them.

In case you don't know how to play:
You take the made up word and come up with an authentic sounding definition for it.
Do this for a week and then post your best or favorite ones every Thursday.

Here are mine for this week:

recher - the zombie feeling one has after having a case of the stomach virus and had been worshipping the porcelain gods.

cenchur - a distant relative to the centaur, which is part man and part oxen.  They are very rare to see and are extremely strong, even in the human upper body with thick muscles.

nurvexa - a spell cast by the most powerful witches and wizards in which the victum suffers from memory lose and don't even realize it.  This is a shorting of the neurons in the brain to stop them from moving on and remembering.

frolaig - a term used for the phrasing of 'from short to long' referencing how life seems to be so short and not pass yet so many years have passed in on day.

Well, since my son enjoyed himself last week playing this game last week, I asked him to pick a word from the list again this week.

joulashu - a jungle with every animal made, including the extinct, with long and wide branches over cliffs you could walk on.

noger - a type of beaver that when it claws it has a special power that it's claws get really long and they can go up to five feet when it attacks.

  6. Ryan - Glad to see you love my sons word. He really surprised me. :)

Krista - I would love to use these words in a fantasy books some day. I have them all here and plan on going back when I sit down to do it. I just may let you borrow a word or two, if you ask nicely. ;) lol. My son told me I was not allowed to use his words. But he would pay me $5 when he makes his millions off his book. lol.

Deb - I think I would run too! lol. My son really surprised me on this one. When he started telling me what it was I think my eyes got big as saucers. lol. What an imagination kids have. I am enjoying asking him to do this with me. I think if you all don't mind I will keep asking him, if he likes.

  9. Cenchur I really like. Some interesting words this week.
I've never joined in with this meme though I sometimes play along just for fun. This week, however I've had some great verification 'words' so I may well join in.

  10. Sheila - Thanks! :) Glad you enjoyed the words.

Chasity - I got the url to work now. I am good. I think it may have been part my fault. I thought everything converted over well when you changed it, but something didn't. But I am following and the posts are showing up on my dashboard again. :) Glad you enjoy the words! Thank you for the complement, I don't think I am that great at them though. Thank you!

Petty Witter - Glad you liked the words! I hope you do join in! :) I always love reading what everyone comes up with. I will keep an eye out for your words. :)

  12. Jackie - He actually enjoys doing the words. I hand him the list and he goes to town, a lot easier than me, with the definitions. I wonder where kids get their imaginations. Thank you for the complement. I will let him know too. :)
