Sunday Post #11

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share new about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

~~~~~~~~~~
Happy Mother's Day!
That is first on the list.  Hope you all have a relaxing and lovely day.  Maybe get to read a few extra hours?
Well, not much has been happening here on the blog.  Allergies have been hell-rasious and I took the week off to relax and try to get some sleep.  In a way it worked, in a way it didn't.  *sigh*  Kiddo had a big track meet Saturday as it was our county's schools.  It lasted all day, but the kiddo came home with 3 medals out of 4 events he entered.  Sweet!  He placed 4th in 400x1 Relay, 5th in Long Jump, and 6th in High Jump.  There were 8 schools there, each bringing their top 3.  Outstanding!  I'm very proud of him, even though he's kicking himself for not doing better.  But he had a tweaked hip and still placed like this.
So, this week is going to be a bit crazy as well, but I'm going to b back at blogging too.  Might as well.  Last week fell atrociously long, and I think it was the lack of blogging. ;) Well, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. lol.
