Let's talk about those books already on the shelves, yours or the stores.
I have a post for books I'm looking forward to coming out;
Looking Forward To...
But what about all those wonderful books that are ALREADY on the shelves.
Whether it be on your shelf waiting to be read or on the shelves in the stores waiting for you to give it a good home.
So, I thought I would share a book a week that is just waiting for me to travel through it's world.
Now... where do I start? Lets go by Published Date on the books...
This Week:
I won a copy of this book. But I entered for it as I liked the sounds of the romance to it. No, I'm not much of a big formal romance reader but sometimes it's nice to dip into the genre when they have an urban fantasy feel to them.
Goodreads Synopsis:
THEIR LOVE IS FORBIDDEN
Healer and high priestess of her people, Lady Cael is fated to life without a mate. But a mysterious explorer named Lucan Rourke doesn't know her secrets, and his touch makes her crave a future that her extraordinary birthright has forbidden her. . .
BUT DANGER IS NO MATCH FOR DESIRE
Lucan has just one mission on Pendragon: to find the mythical Holy Grail, Earth's only hope for survival. His powerful attraction to Cael is a distraction he can't afford, unless he convinces her to join forces with him. Yet working so closely together only heightens their passion . . . even when the terrifying truth of Cael's heritage threatens to shatter Lucan's every belief-and the galaxy itself.
This book is sitting in my dorm room. I haven't gotten around to reading it either.
ReplyDeleteSee, I prefer Romance to UF, but then again, a lot of the newer titles are kind of blurring the lines. I like that.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy this one. :)
I remember seeing this one around ..one or two years ago
ReplyDeleteOh sounds like something I'd enjoy!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the NaNo! Don't kill 'em off all yet! ;D
I'm like you. I don't like romance as such but if there is some UF or paranormal element I will dip my toe in occasionally! :-)
ReplyDeleteKimscarecrow - Oh, I do hope you get to read it. :) You might get to it before me, so hope you enjoy it. :) And thank you for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteMissie - Thank you! And thank you for stopping by. Oh yes, so many new books are blending the lines these days. And not a bad thing. :D
Blodeuedd - I think it was a few years ago when it came around the web. :)
Melissa (Books&Things) - Oh, you might enjoy this one too. Glad to intro you to it. :D And thank you! I'm trying to not kill them all... ;D And doing pretty good so far.
Mel - I know, it seems there are a few that blend the lines and sound good with the UF side of things. I'm curious about this one... one day. ;D Thank you for stopping!
