Throwback Thursday (40)

Let's talk about those books already on the shelves, yours or the stores.

I have a post for books I'm looking forward to coming out;

Looking Forward To...
But what about all those wonderful books that are ALREADY on the shelves.

Whether it be on your shelf waiting to be read or on the shelves in the stores waiting for you to give it a good home.

So, I thought I would share a book a week that is just waiting for me to travel through it's world.

Now... where do I start? Lets go by Published Date on the books...

This Week:

I really liked the sounds of this series; necromancers and fantasy.  Just sounds dark and wonderful.  So I had to pick up the first book.

Goodreads Synopsis:
Working in a city teeming with pirates and smugglers, spy and necromancer Isyllt Iskaldur knows that people barter away their values every day. When she first agrees to infiltrate a motley group of would-be revolutionaries, she feels no conflict of interest, but as situations worsen and her friendships deepen, she begins to have second and third thoughts. A fresh series about a drowning city and a woman driven to save it.

  1. I love, love the cover of this one; for once the woman is covered up yet mystery and power still emanate from her. And I'm intrigued by the concept of a drowning city.
