Monday's Beginnings (77)

How are you faring at the beginning of this week?  Are you starting a new book or finishing one up?

Well, it's Monday again.  The day wasn't going to bad, but for some reason I feel a little down at the moment.  I was all into getting back to working out on the WII again and of course, just my bad luck, the stupid WII board wont work.  I changed the batteries, and tried linking it up again.  But it wont even turn on.  I liked working out before as it was a way for me to work out my frustrations, instead of yelling.  So, I'll have to have the husband look at it, soon.  And I feel as I didn't get much reading done today.  So, I will be reading here tonight.  Maybe not be on here so long tonight so I can slip into that paper world waiting for me.

But, on to the book stuff... I did get the review for Cybermage up over the weekend.  If you would like to stop by there to check it out, click here ~ Cybermage by Alma Alexander.

It seems I haven't gotten as far as I wanted with reading last week.  I'm still working on The Lost Gate By Orson Scott Card.  And this week I'll be finishing up The Mage In Black by Jaye Wells for the discussion chat here on Thursday.  I hope you come and join us as we are going to be done with the book and no holds bar, all open to chat!

As for my WANT list...13 books have been added!  Oh, you all are going to fill my retirement days with books!  And I thought I was going to travel when I got old. ;D Thank you all!  And the authors should be amazed too, as they are all amazing!

Books Received Last Week:

For Review:
I just finished the first book and really enjoyed the journey, so the author was gracious enough to let me review book two as well. :) I can't wait until I can get back into this fantasy world he has created.

Goodreads Synopsis:
The desperate race to save a world continues! Washed up on a desolate shore on the far side of the world along with the Chandara, Boxx, Shann must try to uncover the truth about the fate of her companions, while searching for a vital artifact hidden by an ancient civilization.

So, how are you faring this week?  Does it look like a good reading week for you?

I'm hoping my week turns around in the books here soon.

Here's to wishing you all the best in words and pages.

  4. Alexia - Thanks. :) I'm hoping he gets the board working. He's handy like that. ;) I think I'm just tired and ready for this crazy weather to warm up.

Cecile! Hey! Thank you for the Valentine's Day wishes. :) Hugs to you as well! I was thinking of you last night after I logged off the computer and how I needed to stop by. I'll be stopping by tonight when I get home from work. Take care and hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day.

Melissa (Books&Things) - You know I think I might do that. There is a little bit of sun now when I get home from work, so I would have to do that as soon as I got home, but they would definitely be able to keep up with me, and even pull me up the dreaded hills here. ;D Sounds like a great idea. It was dark last night by the time I was through with dinner and all. But I just might do that today. *Cheers* To more Wishlist books! *L*
