What a world Evy is surviving in. She is put through terrible events that she's finding a way to live on with. It's great to see Evy come into her powers, but a shame what she has to deal with to get there. She's the beginning of a change to the system.

I loved seeing how others in the story are coming into their own as well. There's a flaw to the system and they are seeing it. Along with fighting the evil doctor out to do what ever it takes to end vampirism, but also seems like there's more to it.

I'll be heading on into the next books in the series. Can't wait!
