Throwback Thursday (122)

I found this picture of Trinity College Library, and thought it would work for this meme with a little play with lighting and adding the words.

Let's talk about those books already on the shelves, yours or the stores.

I have a post for books I'm looking forward to coming out;
Looking Forward To...
But what about all those wonderful books that are ALREADY on the shelves.

Whether it be on your shelf waiting to be read or on the shelves in the stores waiting for you to give it a good home.

So, I thought I would share a book a week that is just waiting for me to travel through it's world.

Now... where do I start? Lets go by Published Date on the books...

This Week:

I've been reading, and loving, Marjorie's UF series Hunter Kiss.  And when I had the great opportunity to play and review the computer game that went to the Dirk & Steele series, I was thrilled!  Not only did I love the puzzle games of the computer game, but I became more interested in this series.  So I ran out and purchased the first book.  I can't wait to read it.

Goodreads Synopsis:
He looks out of place in Dela Reese's Beijing hotel room- exotic and poignant, some mythic, tragic hero of an epic tale. With his feline yellow eyes, he's like nothing from her world. Yet Dela has danced through the echo of his soul and knows this warrior will obey her every command.

Hari has been used and abused for millennia. But he sees, upon his release from the riddle box, that this new mistress is different. There is a hidden power in Dela's eyes- and with her, he may regain all that was lost to him. Where once he savaged, now he must protect; where once he only knew hatred, now he must embrace love. Dela is the key. For Dela, he will risk all.

I've heard back from a few bloggers that they would like to join in this meme post, so I'm adding a Linky for you to join in.  Grab the picture above, and join in.  All I ask, is if you can acknowledge my blog in the post so others know where to come back to

  1. Tiger Eye is a good one! I have so many MANY books on the shelf waiting for me. I'm starting Urban Shaman this week. Reading with a friend. I've been doing that the last month or so - buddy reads, minion reads if the term "buddy" is too happy-happy. It gets me past that "What book next" question and def gives a big nudge to start the book.
