Throwback Thursday (53)

Let's talk about those books already on the shelves, yours or the stores.

I have a post for books I'm looking forward to coming out;

Looking Forward To...
But what about all those wonderful books that are ALREADY on the shelves.

Whether it be on your shelf waiting to be read or on the shelves in the stores waiting for you to give it a good home.

So, I thought I would share a book a week that is just waiting for me to travel through it's world.

Now... where do I start? Lets go by Published Date on the books...

This Week:

This is a new addition to my TBR pile, but since I'm doing by Published Date it happens to come next on the list.  It was a free ebook I found on Barnes & Nobles, and I liked the sounds of it.  That and I'm looking forward to reading more fantasy books this year.  Fantasy is a love of mine, but I've seemed to have gotten away from the books last year and more into the Urban Fantasy.  I love the feel of magic and war, what can I say?

Goodreads Synopsis:
The tale of Myranda Celeste, a young woman orphaned by a century long war, and her chance discovery of a fallen soldier's priceless cargo. The find will change her life, sending her on an adventure of soldiers and rebels, wizards and warriors, and beasts both noble and monstrous. Each step will bring her closer to the truth of her potential, of the war, and of the fate of her world.

  2. Blodeuedd - hee hee. So glad you like the sounds of this one. I actually got it, with you in mind as well. Our fantasy reads. lol. It's still free on Barnes&Nobles, I'm not sure about Amazon though. :D

  3. I have a problem that I keep adding free ebooks from Amazon and Barnes and Noble to my Nook but I never actually read them because I'm always prioritizing the Net Galley and library ebooks, which expire. It's very frustrating. This does sound like a good book. I've have to see if it's still available so I can add it to my Nook and not read it ;)

  4. Simcha - lol. I have the same issues. Since I got the Nook for Christmas I just keep adding to it, and not getting to the books as I'm working on review books. It's a shame as so many great books out there. This one might still be available, hope you get it. :) And if you have a Nook, maybe we could be friends. If by chance there is anything in my small library you want to read, I can lend it to you then. :)
