Other than books what other obsessions...err...hobbies do you have?

What other obsessions hobbies do I have... Words seem to be the top of the list. I dabble with writing in my own worlds. I have four stories started and looots to add to them. And I don't even want to think about what else needs to be done with the bare bones of an idea that they are. This is something that has jumped to the front of the line with reading. I enjoy getting lost in places that the mind creates.

Other than words, I enjoy taking pictures. My husband got me a lovely and amazing Nikon camera with a zoom lens and lots of cool accessories a few years back. This year for Christmas he got me a super flash. I've been playing with it ever since. I take pictures of our son in sports and all events we go to. I also take pictures of friends and their children. It's become a fun hobby to take pictures at all the kids birthday parties. Hey, when you have little ones and are chasing them and visiting with the guests, it's hard to get pictures in as well. I've become the resident photographer for our friends. And I enjoy it. The kids have fun with posing and the parents laugh when they see the pictures. I only wish I knew someone that did this for me when my son was wee little.

Speaking of my son, he's huge into sports, more football and track these days but also training. So I've become his number one fan and cheerleader. When his practices or games/meets are during hours I'm not at work, I spend it watching him. Then when he's done with practice, games/meets, or training he likes to discuss it and learn how to improve.
